The top of the sky: the meridian where this planet stood highest at the minute you were born. It is the angle of the public record, and it governs work, standing, and the thing a person ends up known for, which is not always the thing they set out to do.
A Midheaven line is a meridian. It runs pole to pole at a single longitude, which is why it draws straight while the horizon lines curve.
Jupiter at the Midheaven is the most sought-after career line in the tradition, for a straightforward reason: it makes the public sphere favourable rather than neutral. Growth, promotion, publication and reach all come more easily. The risk it carries is scale rather than failure. Things get big here, and they tend to get big before the structure underneath them has been built.

The interpretation is a different kind of thing and we would rather say so than blur it. It is craft, written by hand in the tradition locational astrologers have refined since the nineteen seventies, and it describes what a place tends to support and to demand. It is not a prediction, and no line on any map decides what happens to a person.
